Sigh…I should have known the nine hours last night was too good to be true
Here I am at 3am updating my blog! Haha! Well, the very first cell at cyberheights was great. We played so many fun icebreakers (some imported all the way from Botswana too!). There were about 21 of us including 4 from APIIT who sprung a surprise visit. It was a good start to this newly planted cell. So fun
Can’t wait cos i just know God is only beginning to do His work…Take the Limits off God! Take the limits off ourselves…and see what God will do!
Are you handling something super impossible? Take the limits off God. When we say ” I cant’ to what and where God si leading, we are actually placing limits on Him and what He can accomplish through us and in us. So it’s time to stop saying “No” or “I am not the one” and just DO IT!
Take the limits of the Lord! Amen!? Dare to Believe! I dare you…
Go go go, the Lord is our guide and strength. However, It is interesting point out a little theological perspective. Can we limit God? When we say we cannot do the things that God lead us to, we really are not limiting God. We are limiting ourself. God being who he is, is not limited by our limitation. God who calls or lead is able to empower us. The truth of the matter is that we refuse (a little hard here) let God do His work through us. Thinks about this.
Good observation, in my haste I fear I left out the fact that really it’s a limitation on what God can do in and through us. The point of the post was to address the fact that if we dwell on our human limitations, and not allow God to be God in our lives, then no matter what , we are in fact limiting what God can do in and through us too. Definitely nothing can ever place any limitations on the Great I Am. It is imperative therefore for us to put aside our human frailties not because they are unimportant, but because as you correctly pointed out – those who He calls, He will surely empower! Keep ‘em coming! Miss those challenging times in BCM! woo hoo!
Needed to read these very words… Thank you!
