Order my Steps, Lord!

Things have been rather hectic as there were so many things to look into with the recent death. Lot’s of travelling to visit the housemates etc. Then there was a preparation for a Cambodian camp that was to be held on the Monday and Tuesday. I was really at the end of myself wondering how could I cope with this camp as I was planning and preparing for this camp. Thankfully I was relieved of speaking at this camp when my pastor re-arranged her timetable to speak for it! Phew! But the time was still a problem as I was desperately tired and needing a break! But I just prayed for strength and resilience. Then…I received a call that the Cambodians were unable to make their flight so the camp was postponed. The dates are to be reconfirmed but honestly I believe this was God’s supernatural intervention.

The steps of a good man (woman) are ordered by the Lord when we delight in the ways of the Lord. God orders my days and my nights. I am so touched and blessed that God looked into my personal needs and takes care of the tiny details! With the cancellation I could catch up on lots of sleep and rest. I even caught a movie! Came home for some time with mom before heading off to class! Brilliant day! God is also so mindful because with the camp we would have torn between ministering at the camp as well as going and being a blessing at the memorial! Both are very equally important! So you see how wonderful God works it all out?! Wow!

So this again brings me to the point…God is ALWAYS mindful of us even when He is seemingly “slow” to answer prayers or to act! When salvation of loved ones seem so distant, trust His timing; when dreams take their “own sweet time” in coming to pass…remember God is always mindful of us! We are His children after all!

Psalm 119:34-36 (New International Version)

34 Give me understanding, and I will keep your law
and obey it with all my heart.

35 Direct me in the path of your commands,
for there I find delight.

36 Turn my heart toward your statutes
and not toward selfish gain.
