I had challenged the campers to think about what were they expecting God to do in their lives. I asked them to seriously consider the areas of their lives that needed breakthrough as well as areas of much needed direction from the Lord. That also got me thinking of the areas in my life. Every night and every morning session was full of the prsence of the Lord. There was such a release of anointing. For me I just soaked in the presence. I was not in a hurry for God to speak, I knew He would. So on the last night, I just asked God, “so how ah God?” Then He reminded about casting my bread upon the waters. This was from Eccl 11:1. I turned to the scriptures and read that whole passage and like WOW! I felt God just reminding me and assuring me not to look at situations, but to know how to JUMP and TAKE A LEAD OF FAITH in the ministry opportunity He hasbeen talking about! I had been asking God for the best time etc, but then thru this passage he just said, if you start looking at things here and there and doing too much evaluation, you are never gonna start sowing! And also since you don’t know which way “works” sow in the day time and at night continue to work hard too!
I know 2009 is gonna be another adrenalin pumping year. I know it wil be a night of long days and longer nights. But it is not about my will any more is it? It is all about you! Give me more grace and strength. Let me learn not to complain instead to draw upon your comfort in tough times. I need to soak more, learn more and lean more on Him too!
