I missed HUGE 2007. But I was there at HUGE 2006. It was then that the vision and burden for the African students was birthed in me. God spoke strongly and insistently. I was already handling the Young Adults and this seemed too much. I actually thought that God was opening my eyes to see this ministry and was intending the campus college minister to do it! LOL! How wrong could I be! Thanks for being so patient God! I can be so blur at times. Anyway, it has been a long journey of learning and growing in this ministry. I can’t think of a better place.
HUGE 2006 marked the beginning and birthing of African Students ministry. So what did HUGE 2008 hold for me and the ministry? There is yet another birthing that is about to take place in this ministry. As mentioned in my previous post, God has told me to be a risk taker and work hard! Basically just do it! What is the “it”? Hang on and keep a watch out for it! I am in the workshop with Jesus and as soon as the blueprints are out…you will know it! Meanwhile ….just gonna focus on the Lord and listen!
Last night my eyes got infected AGAIN! urgh! Apa Macam!? Why does it keep happening? Now the skin around the eyes look like they belong to a 90 year old! all wrinkly and bumpy! Went to the docs and got some meds! We leave for staff retreat at 2pm. I am so so gonna rest and sleep… And I bought a mask too! Yay! Restful times ahead ..i hope! Also a caving expedition! woo hoo!
