Today we had Desaria’s Love is in the Air Cell Christmas party! It was a blast! It was put together entirely by the students and the Young Adult overseeing the cell. The students were challenged to sow into the harvest by contributing RM15 per person to cover the cost of food, decorations and games material. They worked so hard preparing and praying. The spent countless hours meeting up to discuss, prepare and plan. Each leader spurred the other on in terms of bringing unbelievers and unchurched to the party! Many of the seniors have since returned home for the Christmas break so with only a handful of seniors, the juniors amidst their exams and work schedules put together a night that was a WOW!
Glory to God for the 80 people that came and out of which 31 were newbies! Woo Hoo! At the salvation call (which was done by the kids!) we had 9 rededications and 1 first time salvation. Now this number could have been doubled, but we had the function in the study room of the hostels. The curfew of non residents was 10pm so many newbies had left. But we got all their details and round 2 is gonna happen and the YA christmas service this Saturday! Woo hoo!
As I see the next level rising, i know this is God telling me to hop on to the next level. They can only grow if I keep growing. If I remain stagnant at this level, everything will eventually crash. This is a great responsibility. One that I cannot afford to shirk. More discipline and more pressing in to the presence of God is required. Higher Higher Higher Lord! That is where I need to climb!
